To be in Rome is simply impacting... So many historical places to visit that normally just a few days is not enough. This time round, I had really a tight schedule but had the posibility of visiting some of the wonderful one would love to see: Our Seminary in Bravetta, The Church of St. Paul in Tre Fontane (where the apostle was beheaded/decapitated), The Basilica of St. Paul (His tomb is here), The Basilica of St. Mary Major, The bronze symbol of Rome - brothers Romulus and Remus (traditional founders of Rome) being fed by the beer at our General House. The view of the Vatican and the famous Pontifical Urbaniana University (from where most of us graduated in Philosophy) is wonderful. I had the joy of meeting some old comrades: Fr. Joseph and Fr. Paschal. The visit to the Vatican - Basilica of St. Peter was just 
great. Climbing to the top of the dome, one has the chance to see the whole Rome at a glance. The vision is satisfying. Wonderful Vatican Gardens oops! Inside the Cathedral, visit the tomb of the Apostle, all leaves you in constant contemplation and perplexion. Then we moved to Nepi - the General House of the Consolata Sisters where we had the meeting. Each day was just unique but a special touch came with the Ugandan ladies acompanying their sister (Sr. Elizabeth) in cellebrating 25 years of religious profession (Silver Jubelee). It was colour, ellegance, dance and joy. The return to the Basilica of St. Paul was on the day of his conversion.
Roma es impresionante. Muchos lugares históricos para visitar. No tuve suficiente tiempo para tanto. De nuestro seminario en Bravetta, visité la Iglesia de San Pablo en Tre Fontane donde lo decapitaron, la Basílica de Santa María Mayor, La escultura en bronze (en nuestra casa general) de la Loba alimentando a Romulo y su hermano Remo - tradicional fundadores de Roma. Desde aquí se ve muy bien el Vaticano y la famosa universidad pontificia
Urbaniana (de donde muchos de nosotros nos graduamos de filosofía). Aquí encontré unos antiguos compañeros (P. Joseph y P. Pascal). La visita al vaticano fue estupenda. Subiendo hasta la parte más alta del domo de San Pedro, se vé muy bien casi toda Roma. La visión es agradante. Vayan los jardines del vaticano - que belleza. Dentro de la basilica, la tumba del apostol etc. Todo de deja en una actitud de admiración y contemplación. Luego fuimos a la reunión en Nepi, la casa general de las Hermanas de la Consolata. Cada día era unica pero un toque especial llegó con las chiacas Ugandesas acompañando a su hermana (Hna. Elizabeth) en la celebración de sus 25 años de vida religiosa (Bodas de Plata). Eso fue una belleza unica: color, elegancia, danzas y alegria. La vuelta a la catedral de San Pablo fue en el día de la conmemoración de su conversión.
