Barcelona has ever been one of my best favourite cities... It is magical, metropolitan and with people from all overt he world. Going along the famous Rambla de Catalunya you are sure of getting all the races of the planet in just a corner. It is wonderful. Its beautiful old artistic buildings: Cathedrals, Santuaries, Hotels, government buildings etc varying from Gothic, Baroco and Gaudi decorates it all with emblematic varied views. The famous squares, ports, beaches, avenues and balcons are just another touch of beauty and harmony. The huge and tall statue of Christopher Colombus, the man who discovered the new world (the Americas) and made greate
vayages around the world welcomes the visitor via the Mediterranean Sea. A must stop in Barcelona for first time visitors is the great artistic work of world renoun Barcelona/Catalunya born architect Gaudi - The Sagrada Familia (The Holy Family). This church has been underconstruction for decades and many more are to come. It is breathe taking how a man could have imagined such a huge work. It is unique in the World. One has to be there to appreciate what can't be revealed in mere photos...
The visit to Vic, another cold town near Barcelona had its on impact. Here I was for Missionary Animation and it was wonderful. Apart from visiting the old roman town, it was a great privilege to visit the Mother House of the Claretian missionaries where we have the tomb of St. Anthony Mary Claret, their Founder. He was born, lived and is burried here. Enjoy the photos...
Barcelona siempre ha sido una de mis ciudades favoritas. Es mágica, metropolitan y con gente de toda parte del mundo. Andando por la famosa Rambla de Cataluña, uno es asegurado de encontrar en una esquina toda la raza humana. Es impresionante. Sus bellos y artísticos edificios antiguos: Catedrales, Santuarios, Hoteles, Edificios del gobierno etc que van del estilo Gótico al Barroco y Gaudi la decora emblematicamente con una variada y hermosa vista. Sus famosas plazas, puertos, playas, avenidas y balcones son 
otros toques de belleza y harmonia. La enorme y alta estatua de Cristoforo Colombo / Colón, el hombre que descubrió el nuevo mundo (las Americas) e hizo grandes viajes alrededor del mundo, recibe a los visitantes que llegan por el mar del Mediteráneo. Una parada obligaroria para las que visitan a Barcelona por primera vez es a la gran obra artística del arquitecto mundialmente reconocido Barcelonés/Catalán Gaudí - La Sagrada Familia. Esa iglesia lleva decadas en construcción y todavía llevará otras. Es 
asombroso cómo uno podía imaginar una cosa tan enorme. Es unica en el mundo. Uno ha de estar ahí para apreciar personalmente lo que no se puede manifestar en las fotos...
La visita a Vic, otra ciudad fria cerca a Barcelona tuvo su impacto diferente. Estuve aquí haciendo animación misionera y todo fue estupendo. A parte de la visita a la antigua ciudad romana, tuve el privilegio de visitar la Casa Madre de los Claretianos donde hay la tumba de San Antonio María Claret su fundador.
