It was another year and all parishes gathered at the Basilica of Santa Maria of Elche to begin the procession of Corpus Christi. It was all colour and beauty. The faithful, youth and old alike, men and women in their ages came. All groups and associations were here to participate. It was a unique day. From the balconies of the houses people were throwing petals of colourful flowers as the beautiful cristal decorated monstrance housing the Blessed Sacrament passed by. They sang and prayed as a show of their Catholic Faith on the True Physical Presence of the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. The Altar Servers, the catechumens to the First Holy Communion, youth bands, nuns and all ... It was a day the Lord was out of Tabernacle and was passing by on the streets. Maranatha! - Come Lord Jesus.....
Fue otro años y todas las parroquias se reunieron en la Basilica de Santa María de Elche para comenzar la procesión de Corpus Christi. Todo era colorido y bello. Los fieles, jóvenes y viejos por igual, hombres y mujeres de todas las edades llegaron. Todos los grupos y asociaciones estuvieron aquí para participar. Fue un día único. Desde los balcones de las casas, la gente tiraban pétalos de flores coloridos al paso del custodio decorado con cristales que albergaba el Santísimo Sacramento. Cantaron y oraron como manifestación de su fe Católica sobre la presencia física del Señor en el 
Santísimo Sacramento. Los monaguillos, los niños de catequesis para la Primera Comunión, las bandas juveniles, las monjas y todos... Fue un día en que el Señor había salido del Sagrario y pasaba por las calles. ¡Maranatá! - Ven Señor Jesús...
